Returns and Refunds Policy
At Blue Ocean Sports, we are committed to ensuring your satisfaction with our products and services. Please review our policies below regarding returns, refunds, and terms and conditions for rentals, experiences, trips, and lessons.

Returns Policy

  • Duration: Our returns policy is valid for 14 days from the date of purchase. If more than 14 days have elapsed, we cannot offer a refund or exchange.
  • Eligibility: To qualify for a return, your item must be:
    • Unused and in the same condition as received.
    • In its original packaging.
  • Proof of Purchase: A receipt or proof of purchase is required to process your return.
  • Manufacturer Returns: Do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
  • Shipping Costs: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, which are non-refundable.

Refunds

  • Process: Once your return is received and inspected, we will email you to confirm receipt and notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
  • Timeline: If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your original payment method within 7 days.
  • Partial Refunds: Partial refunds may be granted if:
    • The item is not in its original condition, is damaged, or is missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
    • The item is returned more than 7 days after delivery.

Terms and Conditions for Rentals, Experiences, Trips, and Lessons

  • Payment: Full payment is required before the start of any activity.
  • Arrival: Clients must arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time to sign in and prepare.
  • Late Arrival: Late arrivals will result in the loss of that portion of the activity; extensions are not possible.
  • No-Show: Failure to attend will result in the full cost being charged, with no refund or rescheduling options.
  • Weather Cancellations: Blue Ocean Sports Training Services LLC reserves the right to cancel activities due to unsuitable or adverse weather conditions.
  • Affected activities will be rescheduled for client safety and experience.

Booking Duration Policy

  • Rentals, Packages, and Lessons: 
    • All bookings are charged for the full reserved time, regardless of actual usage. For example, a 1-hour booking is recorded as 1 hour even if the full duration is not utilized. 
    • Unused minutes cannot be carried over to future sessions. 
    • Rental & Lesson Packages: A minimum of 1 hour per session is required per booking.


Cancellation Policies

  • Trips (Jetski/Jetcar/Fishing):
    • 50% penalty for cancellations up to 24 hours before the scheduled charter time.
    • 100% penalty for cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled charter time.
  • Trips (Yacht/Boat):
    • 50% penalty for cancellations up to 72 hours before the scheduled charter time.
    • 100% penalty for cancellations within 72 hours of the scheduled charter time.
  • Lessons, Rentals, and Experiences:
    • Cancellations must be made before 8 PM the day prior to avoid a penalty.
    • Cancellations after 8 PM the day prior incur a 50% penalty of the activity fee or 50% penalty of the time pre-booked
    • Cancellations on the day of the activity incur a 100% cancellation fee or 100% loss of the time pre-booked
    • Lesson Validity: All prepaid lessons are valid for 4 months from the date of the first lesson. 

Additional Information

  • Late or Missing Refunds:
    • Check your bank account first.
    • Contact your credit card company or bank, as processing times may vary.

  • Sale Items:
    • Only regular-priced items are refundable. Sale items are non-refundable except in cases of warranty issues.
  • Exchanges:
    • We replace items only if they are defective or damaged. Email leigh@blue-ocean-sports.com to request an exchange.
    • All return products must be received back with intact and original packaging
  • Shipping Costs:
    • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
    • Original shipping costs are non-refundable, and return shipping costs will be deducted from your refund, if applicable.
